Corina Beyer

Head Coach

Corina Beyer was born in Spokane, Washington. She played four years of varsity volleyball at Timberlake High School in Spirit Lake, Idaho. She was MVP of the Intermountain League all four years. She lead her team to the school's first state appearance in the schools history for three out of the four years. She was Athlete of the Week four times and was named to the state all-tournament team for three consecutive years. She also lettered in Basketball and Track & Field. She played club for Spokane. In 2003 her club team finish fifth and in 2005 they finished third where she was also named to the Junior Olympic National Division all-tournament team.She graduated early from High School and attended Washington State University. 

While at Washington State she was ranked in the top 10 for all time assists and was also awarded Honorable Mention All- Freshman Team. She then transferred to Auburn University where she had a career ending injury. She was a Volunteer Assistant at the University of Idaho for three season form 2008-2011. She was the Head Coach for a U-16s team under North Idaho Thunder in 2011. 

She played professional volleyball in Switzerland. She has a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with an emphasis in Exercise Science and Health from University of Idaho. 

Mariellen Gero


Volunteer Assistant

Mariellen Gero was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia where she attended Kellam High school and played four years of varsity volleyball. Three of those years she was named team captain, MVP and in her senior year was named to the All-State team and as Female Athlete of the Year. These accomplishments, along with her participation in club volleyball, gained her recruitment to the United States Naval Academy following graduation.

Gero competed as a setter for four years at the United States Naval Academy. After graduation in 2007, she moved to San Diego to serve her military commitment on board USS Antietam (CG-54). In 2009 she was invited to play with the All-Navy Volleyball team and competed with them at the Adult National Volleyball Tournament as well as the All-Armed Forces tournament where they brought home a gold medal.

While in San Diego, Gero was the assistant varsity volleyball coach at Coronado High School for the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 seasons. She also helped coach the Coronado Middle School team and was a coach for Tsunami Volleyball Club.

This is Mariellen's second season as a Volunteer for the Lady Jets.

Jordan Cook


Manager

Jordan Cook was born and raised in Oklahoma. She was an outside hitter at Broken Arrow Senior High for four years.When she graduated in 2010 she decided to accept a two year full-ride to play at NOC. She is currently getting her associates degree in Business Administration. After she graduates she plans to attened OU Bartelsville to become a dental hygienist.
