Professional Background and Experience

Almost all my professional career has been devoted to public service as an educator in higher education. I have served as a faculty member for some twenty years at two-year, four-year, and university level institutions of higher education in Oklahoma. Faculty responsibilities have included teaching and research in undergraduate and graduate courses in management, computer information systems, and various leadership and professional teacher education courses.

In addition to being a faculty member involved with instruction and research, I have over twenty years experience as an academic administrator. Assignments have included experience as a staff accountant, academic department chair, college dean, and college president.

Dr. Kinzer has been involved in the creation of accreditation associations, the creation of organizations that deal with technology in higher education, and in numerous other professional and civic organizations.
