Student Consumer Information Services
A booklet has been prepared for students that has current information about student rights and privileges in the student financial aid area. These booklets may be obtained from the Student Services Office in the Library-Administration Building. Information presented includes types of financial help and how to obtain that help. It also provides information on applying, maintaining, and appealing decisions in this area.
Student Financial Aid Appeals Committee
Students may request a hearing before the college student financial aid appeal committee to appeal decisions made in regard to types and amounts of financial aid awarded. This committee has jurisdiction over all types of aid, including loans, grants, work, scholarships, etc. This committee also reviews the academic and conduct status of financial aid recipients on a regular basis and may suspend, terminate, or modify student financial aid awards.
