Tryouts

April 18 & 19

Date:   April 18 & 19
Time:  Friday, 6-9pm   Saturday, 9am - 12
Place:  Mabee Center - NOC Enid Campus
Registration begins at 5pm, Friday, April 18th.
 
Anyone interested, please contact me and I will email or send you additional tryout information.  Also, if you would like to tryout but are unable to attend on these dates please contact Kathi Shamburg at kathi.shamburg@north-ok.edu or 580-548-2389.  I will work to accommodate individual needs.

Requirements

At this time there are no set requirements.  Everyone interested in the program is encouraged to tryout.  Although tumbling isn't required, it is encouraged and will count as a bonus. 

Scholarship

As a member of the NOC - Enid Cheer team you will receive the following scholarship:
  • 15 hours of tuition
  • dormitory room
  • books
The complete cheerleading scholarship is equal to approximately $1900.00 per semester.                 $$Totaling about $3800/year$$ 
All cheerleaders must meet Northern Oklahoma College admission requirements, pass a minimum of 12 hours, and maintain a 2.00 grade point average.

About the Program

help
The Jets cheer team incorporates cheer, stunts, and dancing.  The team performs at all home basketball games and travels to some select away games.  We are called the "Night Flyers" after the T38 jet in the Air Force.
